Movie: BANISHED [ DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION ]
Banished tells the story of the forcible expulsion of blacks from communities between Reconstruction and the Great Depression. The documentary examines the racial repercussions in contemporary Pierce City, Missouri; Harrison, Arkansas; and Forsyth County, Georgia. Banished was nominated for the 2007 Sundance Grand Jury Prize and will air on PBS in 2007.

Biography: Marco William is one half of Two Tone Productions. His Freedom Summer (2006) was broadcast as part of the Emmy Award-winning History Channel series Ten Days That Unexpectedly Changed America.
